A bit more about me...

My tech journey started with an interest in computer hardware and it gradually evolved into software development. I've spent the past few years learning and growing my skills within a small, but fast-paced and agile development environment.

I'm an avid problem solver and a lifelong learner. Recently, I've also taken an interest in the "human side" of development, and have enrolled into a UX graduate program.

When I'm not working on side projects, I like to draw, play music, or watch hoops.

  • Development frameworks – ASP.NET MVC
  • Programming languages – C#, PHP, Java, Python, and R
  • Front-end experience – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Sass, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Rivet
  • Database management systems – phpMyAdmin and MySQL
  • Content management systems – Cascade CMS and Velocity template engine
  • Creative and prototyping tools – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, XD, and Figma

I'm currently a full-time system's analyst/developer for Indiana University Northwest based out of a regional campus.

Some of my day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain websites and web applications, including building, designing, and implementing back-ends (APIs, databases) and front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with design/creative teams and stakeholders to generate web content that promotes university initiatives while ensuring optimum usability, functionality, performance, accessibility, scalability, and security of websites and apps.

I graduated with dual B.S. degrees (Business Admin and Computer Science) from Indiana University Northwest in 2016.

I'm currently a Human-Computer Interactions graduate student at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis with an estimated completion date of Fall 2023.
